Managed to beat it. Worked backwards from the Kraken’s stats to figure out the parameters of a deck that can beat the kraken without counting on luck at all; it’s impossible to draw a hand that loses, so you just have to keep drawing until you win. (Not posting the deck, to avoid spoilers.)
While the screen is open to take spoils from a defeated ship, you can click “draw” again and a card will get drawn into your hand.
Dragging cards back from the fuse area doesn’t actually function. If you drag a card to the fuse area, drag it back, then drag the other four cards up to use them, the turn will end because the fifth card is still considered to be in the fuse area despite moving it back. This persists over turns.
After you beat the game, if you pick “menu” and then start the game again, you start in the final position from the previous game, with all visited locations still visited and not re-visitable, but the starting deck from a new game.

Beat it again, with the smallest deck that can do so:
Hey congratulation ! Happy to see some players managed to beat the game !
Thanks for the feedback also, I might go back to this game in the future, but I'm going to a new project for now :)
Glad you liked the game !
Quite fun.
Ran into a couple of interesting bugs:
